December 2024 Newsletter and Report
December has been an intensely emotional and reflective month for all devotees of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, as we mourn the recent loss of our beloved JKP President, Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. Fondly known as Badi Didi, she was the eldest daughter of our revered Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
In loving memory of Her Holiness Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, a 13-day Special Sadhana Shivir was organized from November 28 to December 10, 2024. This deeply moving gathering brought together thousands of devotees from across India and abroad to honor and pay their heartfelt respects to their beloved Badi Didi. With hearts overflowing with emotion, eyes glistening with tears, and minds filled with cherished memories, the Shivir unfolded over 13 days of profound devotion, introspection, and sadhana. It was a poignant and heartfelt tribute, marking the close of an unforgettable chapter in the history of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat. During this Sadhana Shivir, we also observed that, this Divine land of Vrindavan, a haven of devotion, became the site of an extraordinary and heartfelt tribute to H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. In a show of unity that has rarely, if ever, been witnessed before, Vrindavan’s spiritual leadership, alongside countless devotees and well-wishers, came together to honor her remarkable contributions and extend unparalleled support to H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, the esteemed Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.
This gathering was far more than a commemoration—it was a powerful demonstration of unity and purpose inspired by the life and mission of Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. Then on 21st December, a special honor was bestowed upon the legacy of our revered President, Her Holiness Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. She was posthumously awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Asia Pacific Vascular Society (APVS). This esteemed accolade celebrated her extraordinary humanitarian contributions and the profound, enduring impact she made on society. Watch the full video of the award ceremony here:
Despite the profound loss of Badi Didi, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has remained steadfast in its mission of service to the community. During the second week, as part of the ongoing philanthropic efforts, the organization has launched a heartfelt initiative to provide winter supplies to 20,000 children in need, across Vrindavan, Barsana, and Pratapgarh. Each child received a warm winter jacket, a cozy blanket, and socks, helping to protect them from the harsh winter.
The Bhakti Diwas Sadhana Shivir, held from December 25 to January 1, 2025, brought together hundreds of devotees, marking the end of a year marked by the profound loss of our beloved President and the beginning of a new devotional year filled with hope, vigor, and unity. As we continue to honor the enduring legacy of our revered Badi Didi, we draw inspiration and strength from the compassionate leadership of our esteemed JKP Presidents, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji. Under their steady guidance, we remain united in spirit and purpose, steadfastly walking the path of selfless service, unconditional love, and unwavering devotion to Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, and his divine mission.

This morning, on the occasion of Shri Ram Jhanki Vivah, our revered Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat President, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, led all sadhaks in the Aarti and Abhishek of Shri Ram and Shri Sita Ji. This Special Sadhana Shivir was held at Jagadguru Kripalu Dham, Vrindavan, in loving memory of our beloved Badi Didi.

Today marked the 13th day of Badi Didi, H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji’s Vidayi Yatra, a day filled with deep emotion and reverence as devotees from all over India and abroad, gathered to honor her extraordinary life and reflect on the loss of their beloved spiritual guide. The atmosphere was poignant, as many devotees, overwhelmed by the love and mercy she had shared, felt a profound sense of sorrow and loss.
The day began with the Divya Pushp Darshan, where devotees were able to witness Badi Didi’s portrait, beautifully adorned with fragrant flowers of every hue and color. It was a heartfelt moment, with many devotees overcome with emotion as they paid their final respects to Badi Didi.
Later in the day, devotees had the opportunity to offer a Daawat (feast) in honor of both Shri Maharaj Ji and Badi Didi. A special video was shown in the hall, capturing cherished moments of Badi Didi’s pastimes with Shri Maharaj Ji and the devotees. Watching these memories unfold before us tugged at our heartstrings, evoking both tears and smiles as we remembered her immense contributions and the deep love she had for everyone.
The day continued with an Abhishek of Radha Krishna, conducted by our JKP President, H.H. Sushri Dr Shyama Didi. The devotees were also given the opportunity to visit Badi Didi’s room, where they could feel her presence one last time.
On the final day, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of both sorrow and love as we bade farewell to an extraordinary soul—an icon of compassion, strength, and unwavering service. In keeping with her eternal wish, we have pledged to carry forward her mission and uphold our unwavering love and devotion to Shri Gurudev. Her legacy—marked by boundless kindness, compassion, and selfless service—remains a powerful source of inspiration, continuing to guide and uplift us all.
Over the past 13 days, the spiritual community in Vrindavan had gathered at Prem Bhavan to mourn the loss of H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. Despite the heaviness of our hearts, the comforting words of the Saints of Braj have brought much-needed solace and hope. The Saints fondly remembered Badi Didi’s unwavering strength, determination, and dedication in carrying forward the divine mission of Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Her boundless kindness, nurturing spirit, and unconditional love were celebrated as the hallmarks of her extraordinary character. A comforting thought echoed among all those gathered—Badi Didi has now returned to her eternal service to Shri Radha Rani. This belief has brought much-needed peace to the grieving hearts of those who loved her, offering a sense of consolation and hope as we continue to carry her legacy in our hearts.

This week, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat embarked on a heartwarming initiative to provide essential winter supplies to 20,000 children in Vrindavan, Barsana, and Pratapgarh. Each child will receive a warm winter jacket, a cozy blanket, and socks—offering much-needed comfort and protection from the biting cold. Many of these children come from underprivileged families and lack the resources to purchase such necessities.
Shri Gurudev’s mission has always been to support those in need, and His daughters have worked tirelessly to continue this legacy. Under their compassionate leadership, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat is committed to providing high-quality, durable items that bring genuine comfort and joy to the recipients. The distributions began early today on 11 December at Jagadguru Kripalu Dham, Vrindavan, where 5,000 children gathered at Prem Mandir to receive their winter supplies. The joy and gratitude on their faces were truly heartwarming, beautifully captured in the photos of this momentous occasion. The teachers expressed their deep reverence and shared how much they would miss our JKP President, Sushri Vishakha Tripathi Ji. They offered their heartfelt obeisances and gratitude, thanking her sincerely for all she has done for the upliftment of underprivileged children.

This morning, the winter distribution initiative led by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Presidents, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, continued to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the underprivileged. Over 6,000 children from Barsana gathered at Kirti Mandir, Rangeeli Mahal, to receive carefully prepared bags filled with essential winter items: a warm jacket, a cozy blanket, socks, a flashlight, and a durable steel container. These provisions are a beacon of comfort and hope, offering protection from the cold and lighting up the lives of children from less fortunate families.
The radiant smiles on the children’s faces were a testament to the joy and relief this initiative brings to their lives. However, amidst the warmth of this seva (selfless service), there was also a deep, heartfelt remembrance for our beloved H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, lovingly known as Badi Didi. Teachers and volunteers shared how much they miss her compassionate presence, recounting her unparalleled dedication to uplifting the residents of Braj through initiatives like these distributions and the life-saving services provided by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat hospitals.
While we feel the ache of her physical absence, we find solace in the unity of spirit and the strength drawn from her inspiring legacy of selfless service. Guided by the teachings of Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, Badi Didi’s life continues to motivate every Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat sadhak. We honour her by walking the path of seva and sadhana that she so beautifully exemplified, ensuring that her light continues to shine brightly in the lives of all those in need.

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat continued its heartfelt mission of providing winter essentials to children in need. Each child received a warm winter jacket, a cozy blanket, and socks—offering much-needed comfort and protection from the biting cold.
The team at JKP Connect was deeply moved by the words shared by local teachers. The love and devotion for Badi Didi, H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, are profoundly felt in Shri Kripalu Dham and the surrounding areas of Pratapgarh.
Teachers recounted how the news of Badi Didi’s passing deeply affected the schoolchildren. Many became tearful and fell silent, their young hearts grappling with an immense sense of loss. In fact, some schools even canceled classes that day, allowing students the time and space to process their emotions.
Despite the sorrow, hope and strength emerged in the words of one teacher, who commended H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji for their unwavering dedication to carrying forward the legacy of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and Badi Didi. Their tireless efforts ensure that this vital mission continues, even in the face of such profound loss.
The community finds solace in the belief that while Badi Didi’s physical presence is no longer among us, her love and wisdom will forever guide and inspire us all. 17 Dec 24 – Distribution of winter supplies to the students of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (Education), Shri Kripalu Dham
The final part of the winter distributions brought warmth and joy to the 2,000 students of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (Education) as they received jackets, blankets, and socks. This marks the culmination of a heartfelt effort that began on 11th December, during which a total of 20,000 children have been provided with these essential items.
When we spoke to the children, many shared how deeply inspired they were by the compassionate efforts of Badi Didi, H.H. Sushri, Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. They expressed their hopes of achieving success in their education and life, so they too could help those in need one day.
The Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, spoke to the children over a call. Their warm words, beginning with “Radhey Radhey,” encouraged the students to study hard, make their lives meaningful, and bring pride to Shri Maharajji and Badi Didi.
Hearing their voices filled the children with happiness and hope, lighting up their hearts and strengthening their determination to create a better future for themselves and others.

21 Dec 24 – Lifetime Achievement Award to HH Sushri Dr Vishakha – Hilton Hotel, Delhi
Our beloved JKP President, Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji was posthumously awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Asia Pacific Vascular Society (APVS) for her extraordinary humanitarian contributions.
As the leader of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), she spearheaded initiatives that provided free healthcare to millions, empowered over 60,000 girls through education, and supported over 1 million individuals with essential supplies. Her efforts extended to sanitation projects, disaster relief, and contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving an indelible mark on society.
In addition to her humanitarian work, Dr. Tripathi Ji co-managed three major spiritual centers—Prem Mandir, Bhakti Mandir, and Kirti Mandir—which continue to inspire millions. Her legacy was celebrated in Vrindavan by spiritual leaders and devotees, reflecting her profound impact. APVS recognized her life as a “beacon of hope and inspiration,” while her sisters, H.H. Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji and H.H. Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, carry forward her mission of compassion and service.
The award was presented by Padma Bhushan Dr Prof M Khallilulah who is the father figure of Interventional Cardiology in India, and President of APVS, Dr. N.N. Khanna to Sushri Dr. Yogeshwari Devi Ji, who accepted the award on behalf of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.

Our beloved Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, always emphasized the importance of living in harmony with everyone in this world, giving respect, and offering support to all. In this spirit, today, we joyously celebrate the auspicious occasion of Meri Radhe Diwas, a day that fills our hearts with unwavering faith and reminds us that Shri Radha Rani (God) is truly ours!

28 Dec 24 – Inauguration of new Operation Theatres at Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Vrindavan
This morning, the President of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, inaugurated the newly constructed operating theatres at Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya in Vrindavan. These facilities are dedicated to providing essential minor treatments and surgeries for underprivileged patients, furthering the mission of serving humanity.
H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, esteemed President of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, joined the momentous occasion via a Zoom call, offering her blessings and support.
The team at JKC Vrindavan expressed heartfelt gratitude to H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji for her unwavering love and guidance over the years. Her presence was deeply missed on this special day and continues to be cherished always.

31 Dec 24 – Distribution of warm blankets to patients of Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Pratapgarh
400 patients who were at Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Pratapgarh were given warm blankets today to help them with the very chilly weather.
Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat has given over 35000 less fortunate individuals and children, warm winter necessities since November 2024.

25 Dec 24 – 1 Jan 25 – Bhakti Diwas Sadhana Shivir – Vrindavan Dham
The serene and divine atmosphere of JKP, Vrindavan Dham became even more special as Bhakti Diwas Sadhana Shivir commenced on December 25. Devotees from across India and around the globe gathered at Prem Bhavan to partake in this sacred Shivir.
The days were filled with soul-stirring kirtans that echoed through the halls of Prem Bhavan, immersing everyone in profound devotion. Interspersed with these divine melodies were enlightening discourses by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, shedding light on the timeless wisdom of the Vedas and Shastras. These lectures deepened the spiritual understanding of the attendees, fostering an atmosphere of devotion and introspection.
The Shivir also provided rare and cherished moments of informal darshan of Shri Maharaj Ji on the big LED screen in Prem Bhavan, filling devotees’ hearts with overwhelming gratitude and joy. Adding to the devotional spirit, devotees came together, continuing the heartfelt tradition of organising and sharing feasts during this festive period—a practice lovingly carried forward from Shri Maharaj Ji’s time.
On December 31, the Shivir concluded with an extended sadhana session that carried on late into the night, as devotees welcomed the New Year 2025. It was a unique celebration, filled with hope for a deeply devotional year ahead. Yet, the occasion was tinged with bittersweet emotions, as it marked just over a month since the passing of our dearest Badi Didi, JKP President, Sushri Dr Vishakha Tripathi. Her absence was deeply felt, but her cherished memories and legacy inspired everyone to move forward with renewed devotion and purpose.
As we step into 2025, the sweet and poignant memories of this Shivir remain a reminder of the strength and unity of the devotional family, and the grace that continues to guide us on our spiritual journey.
