In July 2024, Shri Kripalu Dham witnessed two grand celebrations: the Jagannath Rath Yatra and Guru Purnima, each marked with immense devotion and fervor.

The Guru Purnima Sadhana Shivir, held between July 17 to 22, 2024, at Bhakti Bhavan, was particularly memorable. The venue, which can accommodate thousands of devotees, was packed to capacity with sadhaks who came from across India and the world. The sight of the majestic Bhakti Bhavan, filled with devotees of all age groups, draped in yellow Radheshyami shawls and adorned with red tilak, was nothing short of breathtaking.

The atmosphere was electric with devotion as participants immersed themselves in early morning sadhana, prayers, and aarti. The soulful kirtans, added to the devotional energy, allowing devotees to connect deeply through singing and dancing. The emotional intensity of the event was evident, with many participants moved to tears as they experienced profound divine bliss.

This Shivir provided a sacred opportunity for devotees to deepen their connection with their Gurudev, express their gratitude, and celebrate their faith in a setting filled with spiritual significance.

On the philanthropic side, a special blood donation camp was held and a special distribution of school necessities was given to the Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education students.

8 July 2024 – Jagannath Rath Yatra – Shri Kripalu Dham

A grand Jagannath Rath Yatra was conducted in the early morning at Shri Kripalu Dham and simultaneously in Prem Mandir and Kirti Mandir. In Shri Kripalu Dham, devotees prepared various delicacies and offered it to Lord Jagannath. Lord Jagannath, Shri Balabhadra ji, Devi Subhadra ji and our beloved Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, were placed on the chariot as the Rath Yatra performed a parikrama of the Bhakti Mandir. Devotees sang and danced to “Jaya Jagannath” bhajans and celebrated this occasion with great enthusiasm.

12 July 2024 – Tree Planting Initiative – Shri Kripalu Dham

As part of the Green India Mission, our esteemed Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Presidents—H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji took a significant step towards environmental stewardship by planting a tree each in Shri Kripalu Dham. Trees are crucial for sustaining life on Earth, serving as the primary source of oxygen and playing a vital role in mitigating climate change. This act of planting trees not only contributes to a healthier environment but also underscores our commitment to preserving nature.

By initiating this tree-planting effort, we aim to enhance the green landscape of Shri Kripalu Dham and promote environmental consciousness among all devotees. This endeavor is a part of our broader mission to foster a sustainable and eco-friendly world, ensuring that the sacred space of Shri Kripalu Dham remains lush and vibrant for future generations.

17 to 22 July 2024 – Guru Purnima Shivir – Shri Kripalu Dham

The Guru Purnima Sadhana Shivir 2024 at Shri Kripalu Dham was an extraordinary event that drew thousands of devotees from across India and around the world, all gathering to honour our beloved Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

Each day of the Shivir began with early morning sadhana at 4 am, which included prayers and aarti, setting a tone of reverence and devotion. This was followed by soulful kirtans led by our swaris (designated singers) who infused life into the devotional songs from Prem Ras Madira, Braj Ras Madhuri, and other compositions by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. The devotees engaged in loving remembrance, or Roopdhyan, singing and meditating on Shri Radha Krishna and their revered Gurudev. The devotion was palpable, with many being moved to tears of bliss.

The Shivir featured several special programs, including:

Parikrama of Guru Dham: Devotees circumambulated the holy temple of Gurudev, deepening their spiritual connection.

Palki Yatra: Devotees carried Hari Guru on Palki within Bhakti Bhawan, chanting “Radhe, Radhe” with fervent devotion.

Rath Yatra: In a grand procession, sadhaks pulled the Rath carrying Shri Gurudev while singing heartfelt sankirtans, celebrating the grace bestowed by Him.

Special Leelas: Guru Bhakti of Bhakt Dhanurdas and Suteetkshna Ji which offered profound lessons for devotees. Their lives serve as examples of how deep devotion, surrender and service can lead to divine blessings and personal transformation.

On the morning of Guru Purnima, devotees gathered with deep reverence at Shri Maharaji’s residence, their hearts brimming with devotion. They lined up, holding flower malas and with tears of gratitude in their eyes, to offer their pranam and heartfelt thanks at the lotus feet of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

The atmosphere was imbued with a sense of profound solemnity and respect. Each devotee approached with a humble heart, reflecting on the significance of the day and their deep connection with their revered Gurudev. The occasion was marked by a powerful sense of devotion and spiritual reflection, honouring the presence and teachings of Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj in their lives.

The Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat – H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji led the sadhaks in a series of sacred rituals on this sacred day including Sankirtan, Aarti, Abhishek, Bhog, and Parikrama.

A grand Maha Arti was conducted in the evening with thousands of lamps illuminating the Bhakti Bhavan space in honour of Gurudev. The day was filled with joy and profound spiritual experience, and the happiness of the devotees was boundless.

19 July 2024 – Blood Donation Camp – Shri Kripalu Dham

A special Blood Donation Camp took place during the Shivir. Our Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat inaugurated the event and spoke to the Doctors and organisers of the event and met with some sadhaks who were donating blood that morning. They were very joyful to see Didis there. All participants felt blessed to have the opportunity to participate in this blood drive, adhering to Shri Maharajji’s teachings that blood donation is the greatest form of donation that one can do. A total of 211 units of blood were donated on this day by the sadhaks.

23 July 2024 – Special Distribution to JKPE students – Shri Kripalu Dham

On 23rd July, the Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat – H.H. Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, H.H. Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, and H.H. Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji visited Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education (JKPE) for a special event. They distributed essential school supplies, including school bags, water bottles, notebooks, stationeries etc, to all the students.

The atmosphere was filled with joy as the students received these important necessities.

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat is committed to supporting education and will continue this initiative, with plans to distribute more school necessities in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on these efforts.
