May / June 2024 Newsletter and Report

The months of May and June have been filled with joyous occasions such as Mother’s Day, Sita Navami, Akshaya Tritiya, Nrisingh Jayanti as well as Father’s Day. Special visits were also made to Haridwar and Rishikesh to the Divine Ganga River. These were very memorable occasions for devotees.

We have also captured a real life story of baby Aryan from Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya, Barsana. A cute little baby, but in so much pain. We bring you this inspiring story, one of many, so you can see how critical the services are at our hospitals.

10 May 24 – Akshaya Tritiya – Radha Kunj

Akshaya Tritiya was celebrated in Radha Kunj on this day. “Akshaya” means unlimited. It is believed that charity given on this day yields unlimited fruit and spiritual benefit. The day started with a special Aarti of Shri Radha Krishna led by the three Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, Devotees got an opportunity to apply sandalwood tikka and mehndi on the lotus feet of our Guru Dev today. A special bhog was also offered to Shri Radha Krishna and Shri Gurudev.

12 May 24 – Mother’s Day – Radha Kunj, Mussoorie

Mother’s Day was celebrated in Radha Kunj in grand style. The whole building was lit up with twinkling lights and created a beautiful night scene. Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj taught us that we are not this physical body but are souls, a part of God. On this day, all devotees paid their obeisances to our Supreme Mother, Shri Radha Rani with fragrant jasmine flower garlands. Many devotees had turned up at Radha Kunj for this occasion.

The day started early with a special Aarti and Abhishek of Shri Radha Krishna. A special bhog was offered to Shri Radha Krishna and devotees then partook of the divine Prasad.

Devotees took part in day-long kirtans dedicated to Shri Radha Rani, our true mother. It was a most memorable day and brought back memories of the days when Mother’s Day was celebrated with great fervor in Radha Kunj in the presence of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

16 May 24 – Sita Navami – Radha Kunj

The auspicious festival of Sita Navami was celebrated in Radha Kunj, amidst the serene surroundings of Radha Kunj. Sita Navami is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Shri Sita Maiya.

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat honored our beloved Shri Sita Maiya with Aarti and Abhishek. A special cake-cutting was also held later in the afternoon and devotees sang and danced with joy in celebration. All our Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Mandirs also performed special Abhishek and Aarti on Shri Sita Maiya.

21 May 24 – Narasimha Jayanti – Radha Kunj

On this day, the auspicious occasion of Narasimha Jayanti was celebrated. It was on this day that Lord Krishna took the avatar of Nrisingh Bhagwan and killed the demon king, Hiranyakashipu.

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat honored our Beloved Shri Krishna with Aarti, Abhishek and Bhog. Lovely sankirtans were also sung throughout the day as devotees sang and got immersed in the devotional vibes of the chantings.

29 Mar 24 – A Visit to the Holy Ganges – Haridwar

The Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, visited the Holy Ganges River at Haridwar early this morning. Sadhaks bathed in the Holy River and sang divine sankirtans of Shri Radha Rani.

To commemorate this special occasion, a special Abhishek and Arti was held at Radha Kunj, to thank our Gurudev for this unique opportunity to bathe in the holy waters of the Ganges. It was indeed a very special day and the pictures give a glimpse of the joy felt with our Shri Ganga Maiya!

16 Jun 24 – Father’s Day – Radha Kunj, Mussoorie

Our Shri Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj always reminded us that our Eternal and Divine Father is Hari and Guru. So all sadhaks of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat celebrated this day with great joy but also with tears as we miss our Shri Maharajji so much.

Aarti & special Abhishek of our Gurudev was held on this day. A special bhog was offered to Shri Radha Krishna and devotees then partook of the divine Prasad.

There was special sankirtan throughout the day and all devotees participated enthusiastically. Radha Kunj was bedecked in beautiful night lights that shimmered in the dark and added to the festive atmosphere. All hearts were filled with joy in the remembrance of our beloved Divine Father, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj who nurtured us like his children on this spiritual path. We offer our heartfelt obeisances to Him on this day.

20 Jun 24 – A Visit to the Holy Ganges – Haridwar

Another trip was made to the Holy Ganges River at Haridwar and Rishikesh by the Presidents of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat. Hundreds of sadhaks from India and around the world joined this special visit and bathed and immersed themselves in the holy waters of the Ganges. Devotees sang and danced to blissful sankirtans as they paid obeisance to Mother Ganges. It was a most joyful occasion for everyone who took part. Mother Ganges had showered her blessings for the second time on all her devotees.

21 Jun 24 – International Yoga Day

Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya and Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education took part in the International Yoga Day 2024. Thousands of sadhaks participated within our ashrams and also participated by watching the LIVE Broadcast of the event. You too can watch and participate as well.
